Q - Will 1 Bottle do all of my Boat Seats? What about hulls, Golf Carts or RVs?
A - Boat Seats - If you have a 20-24 foot boat, 1 bottle is usually suitable. If you have a large boat, 25ft+, you may need 2. Hulls + Boat Seats - If removing mildew stains from fiberglass hulls in addition to seats, we recommend 2 or more bottles. For RV Exteriors, Plastic Fences, etc - Apply via a pressure sprayer and expect to use 1 gallon, or more. Use a 1-2 gallon garden pump sprayer with a plastic nozzle tip only (avoid brass tips)
Q - Should I add your Protectant after using your Mildew Stain Remover?
A - If using on vinyl seats it's recommended, because it neutralizes any residual cleaner that may have been missed from rinsing. Which further protects your seat stitching. (Note: Most brands of protectants do not neutralize mildew stain remover residue). It also restores the protective layer on your vinyl, which will prevent recurring Mildew Stains and UV Damage most responsible for yellowing, fading and cracking.
Q - Can Seat Reviver be used on Boat Carpets?
A- Yes. However, verify and test in a small area that is best hidden. Best applied for this purpose by a small 1-2 gallon garden pressure sprayer with a plastic nozzle tip (avoid brass tips). Leave for a few minutes and then pressure wash for best results. Majority of boat carpets are synthetic material and suitable for Seat Reviver.
Q - Can your mildew stain remover be used on RV Awnings, Boat Bimini Tops, or Pop-up Campers?
A - Yes. These surfaces are all great candidates for applying Seat Reviver with a 1-2 gallon pressure sprayer with a plastic nozzle tip only (avoid brass tips). The formula sprays like water under pressure and returns to a thin gel on contact, which boosts dwell time, reduces evaporation, and improves cleaning power. Do not use on natural fabrics and always rinse the surface well with a running hose after 3-5 minutes.
Q – Is your Mildew Stain Remover bleach-based?
A – Seat Reviver does use bleach — but not in the way many cleaners do. Our formula is a precision-engineered blend of bleach, anti-corrosives to help stitching, stabilizers, and specialty additives that make bleach work safer, cling longer, and clean deeper. This engineered recipe is what allows Seat Reviver to be safer on marine vinyl while outperforming multiple leading brands in side by side demos.
Always read the full label and follow all directions and warnings.
Q - Will Seat Reviver Remove Orange Stains, Yellowing / Dry Rotted Vinyl?
A - Our Cleaning Gel is made for stains caused by Mold & Mildew which are the most common stains on boat seats and outdoor plastics/vinyl. Seat Reviver will not work for orange stains - most commonly caused by sunscreen rubbing off into the seats reacting with the surface, or yellowing caused by dry rotted vinyl (UV Damage). If your seats are dry rotted, the yellowing and brittleness can't be removed.
