Frequently Asked Questions

Q - Will 1 Bottle do all of my Boat Seats?

A - In most cases, yes. If you have a large boat, you may need 2. For a 20-24 foot boat, 1 bottle is usually enough for 1 application.

Q - Should I add a Vinyl Protectant After?

A - Yes, it's highly recommended because restoring the protective layer on your vinyl will prevent recurring Mildew Stains and UV Damage, which is most responsible for yellowing, fading and cracking. Our Vinyl Protectant +UV Shield has been proven to absorb UV Rays. You can also find this on our website.

Q - Can Seat Reviver be used on Boat Carpets?

A- Yes. However, verify and test in a small area that is best hidden. Best applied for this purpose by a small 1-2L garden pressure sprayer with a plastic tip (not brass). Leave for a few minutes and then pressure wash for best results. Majority of boat carpets are synthetic material and suitable for Seat Reviver.

Q - Will Seat Reviver Remove Orange Stains, Yellowing / Dry Rotted Vinyl?

A - Our Cleaning Gel is made for stains caused by Mold & Mildew which are the most common stains on boat seats and outdoor plastics/vinyl. Seat Reviver will not work for orange stains - most commonly caused by sunscreen rubbing off into the seats reacting with the surface, or yellowing caused by dry rotted vinyl (UV Damage). If your seats are dry rotted, the yellowing and brittleness can't be removed.

Q - Can your mildew stain remover be used on RV Awnings, Bimini Tops, Pop-up Campers, Home Gutters or Vinyl Siding?

A - In most cases, YES. These are all perfect applications to pour Seat Reviver into a 1-2L garden pump sprayer with a plastic tip. (Do not use sprayers with a brass tip). Seat Reviver turns as thin as water during spraying and turns back into a light gel after it hits the surface! Gel greatly increases the dwell time by reducing evaporation, increasing effectiveness, and letting the product work longer. However, Before using on Awnings, Bimini Tops, Pop-up Campers or Gutters. Verify the Awning, Bimini top or Pop-up camper material is a synthetic material and not a fabric and that your gutters are plastic.

Q - Can I put this in a sprayer even though it's a gel?

A -  YES, in fact, we work with many detailers of boats that use pressure sprayers with wands. Which is optimal for applying Seat Reviver when speed is needed. It is specifically designed to thin more under pressure coming out of a sprayer, and turns back into a light gel after it hits the surface. For 1 boat only, we recommend using it straight from the bottle. It is easier and faster to spread it vs using a traditional cleaner squirt bottle.

Q - Do I need to wear gloves? Is your Mildew Stain Remover Bleach-based?

A - Yes, gloves / PPE. It is bleach based with anti-corrosives and other ingredients forming our proprietary recipe, which is what allows our product to be safer on vinyl seats and outperform multiple leading brands, based on independent testing. Note: Read the full bottle label. Follow all directions and warnings.

Q - What is the difference between Seat Reviver Mildew Stain Remover and Household Bleach

A - Household bleach is not a good option for Vinyl Seats. The reason is that it does not contain specialized ingredients to help reduce the degradation of the vinyl seats. Household Bleach is also less stable due to faster decomposition while in contact with many mildew stained surfaces, so it works less effectively. Household bleach also lacks specialized ingredients that allow it to penetrate into the pores of the vinyl reaching deeper Mildew Stains below the surface layer.  Our product aside, we advise against using Household Bleach on your Boat Seats or any vinyl seats. It's not formulated for that purpose.

I have tried many products over the years with no success. Until now.I was amazed at the result. My seats have not looked this good for 10 years. The proof is in the pictures. I even used it on my gulf cart seats. All is i can say is WOW!!!!!!

After uncovering my pontoons shrink wrap after approximately twenty months of storage, I discovered the entire deck and seats were covered in mold and mildew. I spent days attempting to remove said mold with the few cleaning products I had on hand, and a couple recent purchases (one of which was provided by the local boat shop), with negative results. My wife discovered Seat Reviver on YouTube and had the purchase expedited. Upon delivery of the Seat Reviver, and with strong doubts of having any success, I was totally amazed how quickly your product worked. I started with the captain's chair that I had previously spent hours attempting to clean. In less than fifteen minutes the chair was clean. ( Quick Side Note: Having spent days attempting to rectify the mold/mildew, I had acquired the attention of a passing neighbor who would check in on my progress. Said neighbor was shocked at how quickly your product worked! Word quickly spread and two other neighbors purportedly ordered Seat Reviver). Needless to say, I completed cleaning the pontoon that day. People are amazed when I show them my Before and After photos. Seat Reviver had brightened my spirits, from what was a dismal week. Thank You!

This product just plain works like a miracle! Customer service is 100% the best. Had some issues with the first bottle and their customer service department was on it like wildfire. No complaints here.

I have literally tried 1 new cleanerevery year for the last 14 years. This is by far the best cleaner for your seats. The results are remarkable and I am so happy my wife came across the TikTok video. Seats are white again and so clean looking. I’m literally blown away in how good this worked!!!!
